4-H FILM FESTIVAL
4-H members from across ND are invited to submit a short film for the 2016 ND 4-H Film Festival. Categories include Documentary, Narrative, Animation, 4-H Promotional and Voices of 4-H History. Registraion wil be at 1:00pm on Sunday, July 24! Films will be judged and the public is invited to view the top three films in each category and select the People's Choice Award from these films. Enjoy popcorn and be entertained as these 4-H'ers showcase their talents.

Members of the MHA Nation and filmmakers are working together on a series of documentary film workshops about contemporary life on the reservation. They have put together community-based workshops that will teach individuals interested in film making how to make a short film. If you are interested, you will work in small groups with a workshop facilitator & several mentors who will guide you through the production process.

Lostwood Media , in conjunction with Minot-local Paul Brenno, has created the first Tioga Film Festival in Tioga, North Dakota! According to the regulations, all filmmakers from the USA are eligible to participate and there are no limits to submissions. There are no fees required to submit. This weekend-long event is also filled with many festivities including sidewalk sales, a drone camp, and more. Winners will be announced and notified no later than August 1st, 2016.
